Harcum College students are participating in Philly Fashion Week in several capacities this season. Students from the class Fashion Forecasting, Styling, and Trend Analysis had the opportunity to design marketing materials, volunteer backstage, and act as a brand rep for a featured designer.

According to Instructor Angela Edmunds, “Harcum’s footprint on this season is definitely larger with students participating as interns/volunteers in different departments, the student exhibit, and on the marketing end. Kierra Anderson, Carlos Rodriguez, Jamiah Douglass, Kendra Kennedy, and Tantila Mundin’s marketing material designs are being used by designers for their press kits. Seventy-five press kits will be printed and 150-200 promo postcards will be printed from each designer. These materials will go to Press and VIPs.”

In addition, Aja Mintz was selected to be a brand rep for one of the featured designers Kathryn Milan by David L. Turner for his Shop the Runway Booth at the Saturday night show. She will handle the merchandising of the booth and meet/greet with any guests, press, and influencers visiting the booth.
