SPRING FASHION EXHIBITION

(April 27, 2022) -- The Spring Fashion Exhibition was held on Friday, April 22 in the Art & Design Center. Senior Designers displayed their collections in the Photo Studio, with installations that showcased the themes. Hollywood inspired evening gowns shared the room with dark fairy tales, fishing inspired streetwear, back-to-school plaids, and hand painted dresses for a summer night.

Upstairs in the atrium, first year Merchandisers and Designers turned the room into a mini-market week, with pop-up shop displays and design tableaux. The new Fashion Exhibition video screened in the Photo classroom. Merchandising students enrolled in Angela Edmund's Trend Analysis class debuted a collaborative project - a Fashion Department magazine. They intend to produce a new volume each Spring.

In addition to friends, family, and returning alumni, we welcomed members of the Philadelphia fashion community; luxury designers Prajje Oscar and Christobal, celebrity stylist Kree Willyumz, and Philly Fashion Week producers Kevin Parker and Kerry Scott. Parker and Scott were so impressed with the work of graduating senior designer Diana Cornejo that they extended her an invitation to show in the Fall Philly Fashion Week in September.
